What to Tell Us

Where the mold is
Which room, and whether it's on a wall, a ceiling, the floor or underneath the house. If it's in more than one place, say so, because that usually points at something bigger.
How big it is, and how long
A patch the size of a plate is a different job from a whole wall. Mention whether it turned up recently or has been coming back for years.
Whether water has been in there
A burst pipe, a slipped shingle or a basement that floods in spring all change what's likely behind it, and how quickly someone needs to get to you.
What Happens Next
